Anca Szilagyi is a writer. Her fiction has appeared in The Massachusetts Review, Western Humanities Review, and The Antigonish Review, among other publications.

Born in Queens and raised in Brooklyn, she ran off to Montreal as a young lass to study literature and archaeology at McGill University. Subsequently sucked back into New York's gravitational pull, she then earned an MA in TESOL from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2007.

Currently, she is working on a novel, a collection of short stories, and degree number three in Seattle.
